The Forgotten Felines Program is a management plan in which vets in Jackson County humanely capture, evaluate, vaccinate and sterilize feral cats. The Humane Society of Freeborn County is responsible for the program to manage feral cats, which are domestic cats that live in the wild.
The program serves southwest Michigan and is open to the public without income or residency requirements. If you are looking for a pet to adopt or a donation for animals, you are right here. We are funded by charities and religious groups and are committed to the further development of veterinary medicine as a practice and industry.
Please consider supporting Huntington Hospital as we are providing financial gifts to an increasing number of COVID's 19 patients. We are a member of the Great Lakes Bay region, which includes Saginaw, Bay City and Midland, and serve more than 150 vendors serving 35 specialties. Huntington's Hospital is a regional, nonprofit health care facility supported by a financial contribution from the Huntington Family Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit.
We have also established a working relationship with the Humane Society of Saginaw County to provide 24 / 7 care for pets. Our veterinarians are also part of a local emergency clinic that provides 24-hour veterinary services to ensure that pets are treated and cared for quickly in an emergency. We are also a non-profit organization where Roggenbeck and the staff of our clinic make their skills available free of charge and people who take in injured strays can take care of the costs of veterinary care.
This category of veterinarians includes general practitioners who choose to work in our emergency department and will treat thousands of pet emergencies during their careers. At the end of such a long and comprehensive training, specialized veterinarians are able to provide first-class pet care at a fraction of the cost of a qualified veterinarian. Moreover, most veterinary practices behave like most other emergency rooms in the United States.
